Common questions
Can OrgTide read my Salesforce records?
No. OrgTide works with metadata only - Apex, Flows, Lightning components, objects, and configuration. It never queries, reads, or stores your records (Accounts, Contacts, or any other data rows), by design.
Can it change my org without my approval?
No. Everything the AI produces lands as a draft. You review the exact diff, and nothing deploys until you approve it - after Apex tests, a coverage gate, and a static safety scan.
Do I need a sandbox?
You build in a sandbox or a free Developer Edition org - production is never a workspace. A production org can only be connected as a guarded deploy target, behind typed confirmations, check-only validation, and a rollback snapshot.
What happens to my flows?
Generated flows always arrive as a new, inactive version. OrgTide never activates a flow - you review and activate it in Salesforce when you're ready.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan needs no card - connect an org and start analyzing and building. Paid plans add more workspaces, a larger usage allowance, and Opus access when you want them.
Which AI models power it - and is my code used to train them?
OrgTide uses Anthropic's Claude models through the Anthropic API, sending only the metadata needed for each task. Per Anthropic's API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
I have years of existing metadata - am I starting from zero?
No. Import a metadata zip (Metadata API or SFDX format) or individual files and they land exactly as uploaded - no AI rewriting - as drafts ready to review and deploy. You can also pull components directly from any org you connect.
Can I take my work with me?
Yes. Download any draft group or release as a standard Metadata API zip, export your org's metadata whenever you like, and deleting your account removes everything OrgTide stores about you.
